Infrastructure subcontracting
We are engaged to handle all aspects of delivery of large infrastructure projects on behalf of the biggest operators including Fulton Hogan and Isaac.
Ongoing road maintenance
In this road maintenance subcontractor role of over five years and ongoing, we ensure the roads around Akaroa and the Banks Peninsula are kept in good order.
Bulk Earthworks
Working with contractors of all sizes in various South Island locations including Christchurch and Dunedin, our bulk earthworks services enabled on time and on-budget project deliveries.
Coastal pathway upgrade
Apes Contracting contributed to this key upgrade which helps bring increased recreation and connection between the CBD and southeastern Christchurch: the coastal pathway project connects the suburbs of Ferrymead and Sumner.
City Centre Upgrade
As part of Dunedin’s ambitious makeover of George St and the city’s retail centre, Apes Contracting delivered an array of subcontracting services for the project’s major contractor.
Major highway closure
Working to a critical deadline during the festive season of 2022, we successfully completed a closure of sections of SH6.

We help local iwi organisations develop and maintain their land assets with a variety of services, from landscaping to demolition and paving.
Demolition & Excavations
Using our machinery ranging in size from 2 - 20 tonne, we perform demolition and earthworks for our residential builder partners.
